We’re hesitant to bring up the ‘f’ word… you know, fall, because summer is such a fun season for weddings and events. However, as planners, we have our eyes set far beyond this summer! Fall is up next and we wanted to share a cute idea that we enjoyed at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center here in Pittsburgh. A candy apple station is a great, interactive station for party guests to enjoy. This is a great way to celebrate the fall season by offering various types of apples and delicious toppings.

We also loved that guests were able to munch on their creations while at the event, but there were also to-go containers for guests to take their apples home with them. It certainly served as a sweet treat!

Ho ho ho! Merry Christmas! So it’s not exactly Christmas, but why not celebrate Christmas in July? Today we are looking back on a fabulous Christmas party held at a private residence in Pittsburgh. The gorgeous loft space was transformed into an incredible red and green affair.

Guests were invited to step up to Santa’s Workshop and have their name embroidered on a lush velvet stocking. Guests had fun with this and even had some made for their pets!

Guests were also able to decorate delicious gingerbread cookies. Bella Christie’s  was on hand to help guests with their cookie masterpieces!

Christmas carolers complemented the lobby decor and sang traditional, upbeat Christmas tunes. All in all, guests had a holly jolly good time. Merry Christmas in July! To see more photos, check out the album in our gallery.

If you are from Pittsburgh, then you are probably well aware of what a cookie table entails. We have seen and created some pretty amazing cookie tables but one of our favorite parts of the equation is displaying an excerpt taken from the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
