You have your groom, hopefully you have your venue and vendors but do you have the perfect shoes, like our bride above, to carry you down the aisle? Look no further because here at The Event Group, we love shoes and have picked out some gorgeous options for your ‘I Do’s’.
From brights to neutrals, we have pulled a shoe to suit anyone’s taste. Emerald green is Pantone’s color of the year so it would be the perfect color choice. If you’re in need of “something blue”, Badgley Mischka and Manolo Blahnik are the perfect choice. Christian Louboutin, and Jimmy Choo offer some great neutrals and metallics while Valentino offers stunning d’orsay pumps with a sparkling bow.
What do you plan on wearing on your feet for your wedding day? What is your favorite pick from our selection?
“Once in a while, right in the middle of an ordinary life, love gives us a fairytale.”
For Amy and Michael’s wedding, held at a private residence, the décor was romantic and almost as perfect as the couple. The chandeliers, chair décor and incredible rose chuppah were the perfect additions set against the gorgeously draped tent. The romantic pink hue cast a warm glow around the room, setting the scene for a beautiful ceremony.
For dinner, tables were adorned with gold silverware, and breathtaking rose centerpieces atop crystal stands. The chairs from the ceremony worked well with the luxe pink linens on the tables. To see more photos of Amy and Michael’s special day, please see our gallery.
The Pennsylvanian – WOW – what a gorgeous setting for a gorgeous couple! Molly and Kevin utilized the uniqueness of this stunning Pittsburgh setting in many ways.
Cocktails were held outside under the rotunda (heat lamps were brought in to make sure guests felt comfortable in the cool May air), escort cards were carefully positioned on the luggage cart in the lobby. Instead of a traditional guestbook, Molly and Kevin gave the guests the option to leave their best wishes on a vintage card catalog system.
As guests were invited into the main dining room, they saw beautiful centerpieces by Allison McGeary Florist atop tables dressed in caramel bark linens. Each centerpiece had a a mix of white hydrangeas, peach roses, dusty pink roses and greens – some in tall glass vases and some in lower pink mercury glass for a mix in height. Tablescapes were enhanced with apothecary jars filled with white stones and succulents.
Guests dined on an heirloom tomato and buffalo mozzarella salad topped with a basil bouquet followed by grilled filet with red wine sauce infused with whole red grapes and Gorgonzola crumbles – a specialty of Rania’s Catering. The breathtaking wedding cake was custom designed by Kevin’s aunt for a sentimental touch. The floral on the cake matched the floral arrangements, it was almost hard to distinguish which flowers were real and which were sugar! After the fabulous meal, guests were ready to get up on the dance floor and party to the sounds of Free Spirit.
