We love this time of the year at The Event Group – it’s Valentine’s Day! And that means a day to proclaim your love to your sweetheart. Whether you have been dating a few months, engaged for a year or are already married, it’s the perfect time to show your significant other how much they really mean to you.

We’ve taken our favorite proposals from 2014 to share with you – and make sure to see if your favorite proposal from 2013 made our list last year!

This adorable couple met during the music video shoot for the Imagine Dragon song, “On Top Of the World” where both of them were cast as extras – and they were inseparable ever since. So what a more perfect way to propose than while “on top of the world” – aka a hot air balloon ride? How romantic!

One of our favorites is this simple and sentimental beach proposal. After meeting in college, Colbey and Tyler knew that they were meant to be together. He surprised her by taking her to the beach one day and presenting her with a scrapbook of their relationship, and then getting down on one knee to surprise her when she got to the last page.

These guys took it up a notch and proposed on national TV with a little help from one of our favorite day TV show hosts, Ellen DeGeneres.

Pittsburgh’s very own Pirates MVP Andrew McCutchen also proposed to his girlfriend on Ellen!

This proposal, live from The Today Show, will bring tears to anyone’s eyes.

We love this proposal – it was four years in the making, 100,000 miles, 28 countries and he spent more than four month abroad. It took some serious dedication from this guy, and we love how much time and effort he put into this! (And he said he knew that he was going to marry her on the first date! Cue the happy sighs)
